Gaining Balance

Gaining Balance

Gaining balance, on your mat and in your life

Every day we are faced with choices to make and decisions to take. Big or small, these decisions and actions lead to our destiny.

Sometimes we are called on to take action, however, we don't have the energy as we haven't rested and rejuvenated sufficiently. This poor performance produces poor results.

Sometimes we react too quickly while pausing may have served us better.

Other times we are too passive, instead of taking that leap forward.

How do we know when to take control and when to surrender?

How effectively and efficiently are we able to balance dynamically?

In yoga, we discover our range between;

Active and Passive

Inhale and Exhale

Energise and Relax

Hold on and Let go

Control and Surrender.

With yoga, we practice balance at this moment.

We are flexible to adjust and move.

We are strong and explore our edge.

Then we rest accordingly so that we are able to give our best when we do take action again. We learn and become stronger, playing to our new edge with each session.

Yoga gives us the opportunity to embody our learning and increase our wisdom through knowledge and experience.

We practice with our own unique Intention and relative to what we want to achieve.

Having balance is a process in motion and not a destination. The same as in life.

Doing yoga helps us to understand ourselves better as we practice our balance, build our strength, and improve our flexibility.

This expansion applies on our yoga mat, and also in all areas of our life.
