Dynamic Balance of the Polarities in your Life

How well do you 'balance' the various polarities in your life?

Nothing is permanent. Life is a dynamic balance between polarities.

What we do and how we do it carves the path to our destiny, one day at a time.

Our choices and decisions stem from what we think, feel, and do.

On good days we manage ourselves just fine. But, on the 'bad' days when we are put under excessive pressure (stress), we lose focus, wobble, and can be thrown off balance, temporarily losing our direction. The further we stumble down this path that does not serve us, the further we drift away from the path that leads us to our goal.

Yes, "Everything is empowering." However, once we realise that the consequences of habitual 'bad' action take us away from our holistic well-being, we have the choice to intentionally apply our knowledge and begin to think, say and do differently.

During yoga, we clearly notice the difference between:
Active and Passive,
Inhale and Exhale,
Energise and Relax,
Hold on and Let go,
Control and Surrender.

In yoga, we practice control and surrender, how to flow with ease between transitions, and how to return to balance. This is dynamic!

With each practice, we apply our knowledge and regain balance.
It's a process and not a destination.

 

How can we learn to master 'Dynamic Balance'?

"Know thyself."

The more we learn about ourselves, the better we are able to respond to our pose (our situation or people in our life), instead of merely reacting to the various messages from our body, our thoughts, and feelings.

Be the "Captain of your ship."

Our awareness increases when we do yoga and so we improve our various skills and abilities. We rediscover ourselves and learn how to navigate life's challenges with more ease.

With time, we see ourselves achieving better results, on and off the mat, according to our capabilities.

 

When we embody the wisdom yoga has to offer, we are more likely to;
Take opportunities to control, to push to our unique edge, to build focus, strength, resilience…
Take opportunities to surrender, let go, relax, and rejuvenate.

This dynamic balance between control and surrender enables us to perform effectively and efficiently when we take action.

As our self-awareness grows, we improve our skills to self-regulate and become capable of managing challenging times, and we're more able to bounce back effortlessly during 'stressful times'.

This transfers to mastering ourselves better in the other areas of our life too.

Through the experience of yoga, we raise ourselves and grow in wisdom.

From a higher perspective, we practice balancing and integrating our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects to improve our holistic well-being.
